That took quite a bit of time

There was a language barrier

But I choose to believe

That the heart was right

You’re just very thorough

Which isn’t a bad thing

It just requires my patience

And my late-night time

There seems to be a problem

With understanding the difference

Between what and how and why

It’s as simple as that really

I don’t know how I could have

Alleviated your anguish

Or avoided it all together
