That green needs a name
Cause it is new
It happened once
For the first time
This morning, right?
So what should we call it?
The kids were there.
Should we have them name it?
Or should you?
But you probably won’t.
You’ll say, “no you”
And I’ll insist
And you’ll say, “I can or you can”
And I will simply want you to name it
And you’ll say, “if you want”
And I’ll say, “it is what I want”
And you’ll say, “what should we name it?”
Knowing full well that I want you to name it
It is always the same
So so so much time wasted
Blocking the rains of caring
And holding the lightening bolt
It’s a maddening never ending thing
To name the green
All the joy
Every drop
Is gone now
And I’ve stopped drooling
About the name
Dance dance
